Expanding Accessibility

Following the two Fat Liberation community group programs this year and in preceding a third, Erica Joy is facilitating an open community conversation, Expanding Accessibility. We’ll be honing in on the intersection between fatness and disability. As two groups that are marginalized highly due to a societal refusal of physical accessibility and medical prejudice/neglect, as well as folks experiencing both identities, we not ignore our connection to each other. This space is for anyone to join, but it will center fat and disabled folks. This a donation-based event, and donations will go towards subsidized + sponsored spots for future Fat Liberation community group programs.
