“The eclipse season support group and individual sessions facilitated by Erica and Kay Calloway were undoubtedly a necessary part of my healing journey during a time of extreme upheaval in my life. Having the groups and individual sessions lead by Black queer femmes made me a Black, Persian woman feel comfortable and safe in sharing my personal experiences in such an intimate setting (to also have space to intentionally reflect and debrief with other Black folks in the midst of the Buffalo mass shooting was particularly poignant). Kay's one-on-one sessions were expansive counseling sessions that opened many new channels for my own growth & healing, and Erica's ability to guide such intentionally balanced and collaborative group sessions reinforced such an impressively structured seasonal support group. “Being a part of Cultivating and Releasing: Our Scorpio Szn Group with Cosmic Healing Fam has been life-changing! Kay and Erica are angels who serve as guides on our path toward healing. Erica leads group discussions with exercises on what we want our group to look and feel like; deep breathing; drawing and releasing stress; and overall badassery. Kay is an astrologer who does deep dives into our birth charts and lets us know what the planets and houses mean for our lives. I'm an Associate's Degree student, and Kay has given me wonderful advice on four-year colleges and universities. They have even put me in contact with one of their professors, which will be helpful for me as I continue to navigate my career as a poet-anthropologist. Kay and Erica have been really wonderful in allowing me to be a part of this group for free. I know their hearts are in the right place in terms of providing support for Black people. “I am a part of Cosmic Healing Fam's "Scorpio Szn Eclipse Group," and it has truly been so special. I am newer to astrology and have struggled self-studying due to the disembodied approach that is often propped up as the popular way of engagement. I find this space to be one full of care and curious exploration. It allows us the space to process what is a difficult time with support from others. The space also allows for an alternative way of approaching astrology which is through the body and community. Erica's facilitation is so great and Kay's astrological wisdom is very inspiring and trauma-informed”
