It is truly evident that kay's practice embodies community focused healing justice practice. Their approach was gentle and fervent, filled with the balance of an inquisitive Sagittarius rising, equally curious about my origin story & inner workings, as about making astrological connections to support and give context to my experience. Erica and kay's Cosmic Healing community is a space of deep presence and integrity. both as communal and individual facilitators, kay and erica held space with principle and care, making sure that everyone felt not just heard and witnessed but affirmed in a safe container. Weaving in their own personal experiences and insights, i found their offerings to be deeply grounding and compassionate, taking stock of participants full selves and being able to empathize with what we shared. Kay's individual sessions brought frank honesty coupled with compassion and a sense that even in the toughest of circumstances there is still room for possibility and wonder. I first heard about Cosmic Healing from a dear friend and felt immediately drawn to learning from Erica Joy and kay, darling (these sisters stay so true to their stated values and model in practice how said values can be applied). As someone who has existed in unhealthy organization dynamics that reference themselves as “fam[ily]”, I’m so grateful to share that my personal experience with Cosmic Healing has been so supportive and uplifting to my growth, interests, and joys, as well as general navigation in this world.
I’ve participated in the Scorpio Eclipse Group as well as additional community group sessions facilitated by Erica Joy, and individual astrology sessions with kay, darling. I deeply admire Erica’s ability to hold space for everyone in group settings as she leads discussions with engaging questions and supportive meditations. There are also multiple check-in opportunities to see how people are feeling. I also am so grateful to be able to deep-dive into my chart with kay, who continues to be so willing to break down aspects of astrology for me in conversational ways that feel most understandable and easy for me to process.
I’m so grateful also to see how Erica Joy and kay, darling lead with so much care and intentionality towards dismantling larger systemic systems of harm, including anti-Blackness, racism, colorism, fatphobia, ableism, capitalism, and imperialism.
